After we roamed the streets of Düsseldorf with our Angel-Squad, Düsselcats and Düsselqueers of all variations, we’re now ready to show our neighbouring (friendly) rival Cologne what we’re made of. Below you will find all the Info you might need to join us for the demo on the 10th of July. And join us, you will, right?
When is it? 09.07.2023, Gathering around 11:00, with the first groups moving at 12:00. In case you want to help us set up the truck, please join us around 10:30
Where do we meet? Cologne (duh), Starting Zone 6 (Opladener Straße), Starting number 206 will be marked on the street (see picture for more info)
How long will it go? Official end of the Demo is around 17:30 but with the amount of people moving around, times may vary
What if I hate walking and / or want a special experience? Well in this case, how about getting our VIP-package, that not only gives you a shirt, a bag and some soft drinks but also the privilege to ride on our truck and party alongside our DJane @official_dijane_calidrip_ and the popular drag queen and queer activist @electra_pain? Check this link for details.
But what do I wear? Come as you are, in whatever style you feel comfortable in. Maybe you also want to have one of our shirts and bags to upgrade your style? Check this link.
What’s with this cute Düsselcats shirt? This is exclusive for our dancing group – but there’s still time to join the cats and learn the choreography, so let us know and we send you the practice video.
Can I help? Definitely! We can still use some more truck angels that help us ensure safety during the parade. Just check that people don’t come too close to the moving truck and everyone can enjoy the event safely. This role even comes with a special T-Shirt and golden wings. Also, if you want to give us additional support, please check our fundraiser. This will also give you a brief summary of our investment.
In whatever way you decide to participate, we’re looking forward to having a colourful and happy parade with y’all, displaying our diversity and celebrating our community.
