As we grow as a group, we – the International LGBTQIA+ Düsseldorf – want to increase our visibility in the Dorf. We were on the small stage at CSD Düsseldorf for the first time to introduce our group.
Thomas Krüger (Vice Chairperson) and Miku (Social Media) talked about our performance group the Düsselcats, the 47+ interest groups of our community and future plans. They were joined on stage by Juan (founder) and Jose (community member).
Jose talks about how the group has helped him make friends and settle into a new city – because it’s not easy to come into another city, especially as a gay man.
The presentation also includes videos and photos of our dance performance and regular meetings. We hope to be able to be on stage at CSD Düsseldorf 2025 next year!
